Getting Acquainted With Computers
When I first beheld a computer, I was awestruck. At that time, I was completely clueless on how a computer works. All I knew was what my friends told me, that it’s a great equipment to have for doing papers.
At first, I was even afraid to touch it. For the first month, I completely avoided it. I would just observe how it was being used and how it was operated. But all those time, I never once touched it.
Later, I found myself filling in for some typing jobs. I was a slow worker as I don’t know how to change caps and I was overwhelmed by the many keys on the computer keyboard. Gradually, I learned the basics.
That was thirteen years ago. Now, my computer is a necessity for me. I use my computer to work, to communicate with friends and family, and to do research. I also use my computer to play games and make up some stuff.
My affair with a computer may not have been love at first sight. But it has carved a permanent niche in my life.
