Direct TV and AT&T Hook Up

AT&T and Verizon dominate the local phone service market here in the United States.  Qwest is the third local carrier, but they cover a largely rural territory.  For years, AT&T has sold Dish Network service in order to complete a triple play of services for their customers.  But now, Direct TV and AT&T have reached a new agreement for satellite TV.  Starting on February 1st, AT&T will sell Direct TV to their customer base.  The move is a definite win for Direct TV, which already has resale agreements in place with both Verizon and Qwest.  Current AT&T customers who have Dish Network will not have to switch.
