I Direct the School Plays
As the director of the drama department at our school, I am constantly on the look out for great costumes for a good price. We have a limited budget, but we like to do the best we can for what we have. For the large performances, we go a bit more all out. I have a favorite excellent fancy dress website where I often pick up costumes for our leads. Last year we did Grease and I was able to get the lead characters outfitted for well within our budget. It’s amazing how much better the kids do when they are totally in character. It just makes the lines flow so much better.
