How much should you worry about dirty tactics in divorce? That question depends on several factors. First of all, you need to assess the mind frame that your ex spouse is in. If they are highly resentful and angry, this increases the chances that they won’t want to cooperate peacefully. Also, consider the circumstances of the divorce. Who initiated the process? If someone was unfaithful, the other party may want to seek revenge by “taking them for all they are worth”. But if adultery was committed, they may not need to resort to dirty tactics- they already have the upper hand and the sympathy of the court.
