Toronto Flowers Don’t Really Bloom All Year

My family was finally moving back to our home in Canada.  Although my husband and I had grown up there, our youngest children had spotty memories of our hometown.  One day I heard my six-year-old son explaining to a playmate that he was going to live in a town which had flowers all year round.  I realized that he thought this because every time we had visited my parents, the house was filled with hothouse flowers, no matter the season.  I had to explain to him that toronto flowers bloom mostly in the spring and summer, but that it is beautiful all year.  We’ve been back two years now and I believe he now agrees with me, even without perpetual flowers.
