a sterling idea
My sister had never wanted to have a traditional wedding, from the decorations - lively colors, to the ceremony - outside, to the wedding registry -none. Ten years later, she regretted not having sterling steel flatware. The rest of my family and her husband decided to get together and give her the collection she lusted after for her surprise anniversary party. It was quite an ordeal keeping the party and the gift a surprise, especially considering the number of people in on the surprise, from children to brothers and sisters who could never keep a secret. The surprise was effective and the choice of cutlery perfect
