Last year it rained for over a week straight and on some days we got over 3 or 4 inches. The flooding was terrible and a lot of people had to leave their homes. We only ended up with maybe 4 inches in the basement not 4 feet like some people. We may have been lucky that time but I do not want to chance it again. I just got this new house, and there are no blinds or shades on the windows. I really hate that. Anyone walking by on the street can look in and see what is going on in my house.
