Making Insomnia Work for You

I used to hate having insomnia. I tried everything my doctors suggested for insomnia help, but nothing helped. Eventually I decided that since I couldn’t defeat insomnia, I was going to use it to my advantage! I started staying up until I felt tired, just so that I had an idea of my body’s sleep schedule. Once I got that figured out (I can stay up till 3am with no crankiness the next day), I started looking for jobs that would allow me to work that late or nearly that late. Apparently, working that late also has an increased salary. Now I work 2 jobs, have double the money, and I’m feeling great!

Proud Owner of a New Heart Rate Monitor

You know you got to get a new heart rate monitor when your current one starts to give you inconsistent readings and dies off suddenly sometimes. That was what happened to me. So, last Tuesday I visited my local health equipment store to get myself a new heart rate monitor. My very good friend, who is a manager there, recommended some of the best heart rate monitors available in the market. I left the shop being the proud owner of a brand new hear rate monitor. I would also recommend my friends to choose this particular model as it is easy to use and very affordable!

Supplements for the Muscles

A salesman approached me one day when I was working out in our gym. He was selling muscle building supplements. He says that the supplements will complement any workout regimen I am into. He suggested that if I want to build quality muscle mass fast and if I can’t manage to eat 5-6 meals per day then I should try the supplements he is selling. Because the supplements were affordable, I bought two boxes. I always wanted to keep my body fit. And I guess taking these supplements can help me with my goal. Good and Healthy Foods

My friend wants me to help her lose weight. She is aware of the fact that I know a lot about fitness and that is why she wants me to help her. I am the only friend she has that knows fitness things. I told her that I was definitely going to help her because I know that she needs to start working out and losing weight. She weights more than 180 pounds. We Never Made That Mistake Again

This past summer, I spent some time hiking local trails with my sister-in-law and her two children. During one of our trips, her ten-year-old daughter started to get pale and feel dizzy. She sat down on a rock and declared that she couldn’t go any further. We suspected that she was suffering from heat exhaustion due to lack of proper hydration, but we did not have any water with us. It had been taken on ahead by other members of our hiking party. None of us had felt thirsty and it didn’t seem very hot, so we didn’t think it would be a big deal. Boy, were we wrong! My niece was okay once we ran and got her some water, but the experience was a little scary. From then on, we always made sure every hiker had fluids on them at all times.

I like to go to the bookstore and look at the ‘for Idiots’ collection of books and think, “Hey, I’d really be an idiot to pay $15 to buy a book that tells me how to do that.” But the other day as I was putting on my running shoes to go for a brisk walk, I thought to myself how great it would be to have a Fat Loss For Idiots diet book. Many of us struggle with weight – namely, getting rid of it. Losing fat is relatively easy and it’s a simple concept. Lose fat, and you’ll lose weight. That would have to be on the first page of the book. Staying off the carbs would have to be another chapter of the book. The exercise chapter should have a big DUH!! next to it. And finally the importance of drinking water would definitely have to be in there. This is one time where overindulgence (for reading, that is) is acceptable when you’re on a diet.
