How much will I need for a home loan down payment?
I am in the market to buy a house. I am tired of renting. I want a home of my own. I have some money in my savings. I know I will have to pay closing costs, and that amount will depend on the price of the house. How much will I need for a home loan down payment? I’mnot sure if I have enough money saved up or not. I guess it will depend upon the asking price of the house, if the seller will accept a lower bid, and how much I can get prequalified for.
