Bounty hunting provides for excitement in one’s career
Bounty hunters like Daniel Kears followed and apprehended Sidney Jaffe at a house in Canada. Kears was arrested and extradited to Canada, and convicted of kidnapping. While the United States Government generally permits the functioning of bounty hunters in the US, the government is not as tolerant of such activities when they cause problems with other sovereign nations. Many Bounty Hunters have been apprehended for murdering a suspect or apprehending the wrong person, misidentifying them for a suspect. Unlike police officers, they have no juristic securities against injuries to non-fugitives and few legal protections against harm to their targets.
